Every day, you help customers achieve more. To get the most value from the products and services you provide. That’s why we created Microsoft FastTrack—a success service that can help your customers to smoothly and confidently make the move to Microsoft cloud services like Office 365 and Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS).
What’s the FastTrack Center?
Get the help you and your customers need to drive adoption of Microsoft cloud services. Lead the customer engagement or work side-by-side with Microsoft FastTrack Center staff to speed customer onboarding.
Microsoft FastTrack is a customer benefit. If you’re a partner working with a customer, you can take advantage of the benefit on behalf of that customer. The FastTrack Center works closely with all partners to get their customers onboarded.
Any net-new customer (new tenant) who purchases 50+ seats of Office 365 from the commercial SKUs (including all Enterprise SKUs and standalone SKUs, Office 365 ProPlus, Government SKUs, EDU SKUs, Kiosk SKUs, Non-Profit SKUs, and Business Essential and Business Premium SKUs) qualifies for assistance from the FastTrack Center.
- Qualifying customers who purchase between 50 and 149 seats—and who don’t have a registered Digital Partner of Record—will now be able to get on-demand guidance from the FastTrack Center through an in-product experience.
- Qualifying customers who purchase 150+ seats receive remote onboarding assistance. For all paid SKUs (excluding free Government and EDU SKUs), 150+-seat customers will also receive a remote email migration benefit.
FastTrack Center gives you and eligible customers access to:
Adoption Planning Service assistance. Includes expert-led identification of scenarios and structured training to drive early value by usage of the service.
Assessment and remediation tools. Remote help to assess the current environment, including IDFix to set up Active Directory integration and Office 365 Health, Readiness, and Connectivity Checks.
Onboarding services. Remote help to prepare your customers’ infrastructures, providing a remediation plan along with recommended activities and tasks for you and your customers to complete. The ultimate goal? To help ensure services are provisioned and ready to use.
Data migration services. For qualifying customers, remote email and file migration to OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Team Sites from file shares or Google Drive.
FastTrack core principles
The Microsoft FastTrack service is founded on three core principles.
1 Provide a great customer experience
Data—and customer feedback—indicates that satisfaction with services like Office 365 and EMS are influenced by the onboarding experience customers have in the first 90 days—particularly true for customers with fewer than 150 seats.
FastTrack Center resources can help you ensure every customer has a positive experience—from initial engagement to rollout and management.
2 Shorten customer time to value
Getting customers up and running quickly can improve their productivity, and can enable them to deliver business results faster. Begin by taking advantage of tools like
Value Discovery Workshops to help customers formulate a vision, implementation, and user-adoption strategies. Or build a Success Plan—their roadmap to deploy, onboard, and encourage Microsoft services usage.

3 Accelerate and deepen your engagement
Office 365 can help you establish and solidify your role as trusted advisor, encouraging adoption that can drive your business growth.
A 2015 Forrester Total Economic Impact study describes the opportunity for you to expand your customer engagements (and your practice) through high-margin, high-value services. Services that can drive recurring revenue through managed services, service enhancement, and ultimately, renewals. Consider adding business-process consulting, managed services, line-of-business application integration, and app development to your portfolio.
